Barratt is an award-winning organisation. But what really makes us proud is that we win such a diverse range of awards. Awards for innovation. Awards for product development. Awards for design, for environmental initiatives, for conversions. In recent years, we’ve won virtually every major industy award. It shows the breadth of our thinking and the depth of our talent.

In 2006, we were named:

• Housebuilding Innovator of the Year
• What House? Housebuilder of the Year
• Daily Express National Builder

In 2007, we were also voted:

• Britain’s ‘Homebuilder of the Year’ by Your New Home magazine
• Best Development of Design and Innovation – Ecosmart show village at Chorley, Lancashire
• Best City Development – City Point, Brighton
• Best Conversion Project – Tachbrook Triangle, Pimlico

In 2008:

• Site managers working for the Barratt Group have won a record 72 Quality Awards in this year’s Pride In The Job competition for quality workmanship – the highest number ever claimed by one housebuilder in the 28-year history of the awards.
• The Barratt Green House – the first home by a mainstream housebuilder which is so environmentally friendly that it meets the criteria for zero stamp duty – was officially opened in May.
